This project involved a comprehensive renovation of a residential apartment in Blackrock, including a full bathroom refurbishment, kitchen reconfiguration to create an open-plan layout, new flooring throughout, and complete internal painting. Bathroom Renovation

What We Completed

Disconnection and removal of the existing electric shower, shower tray, and shower panels
Removal of plasterboard in the shower area only (1100 × 800mm)
Removal and disposal of existing floor tiles
Relocation, supply, and installation of a new light switch in the hallway
Supply and installation of approximately 6m² of moisture-resistant plasterboard to the shower area
Supply and installation of 18mm plywood and cement board to the bathroom floor (approximately 5m²)
Construction of a new shower tray base (1100 × 800mm)
Full tanking system applied to the shower area and bathroom floor
Supply and installation of a new shower tray (1100 × 800mm)
Supply and installation of glass shower panels, including sliding door
Supply and installation of a new electric shower
Supply and installation of a flat LED ceiling light
Supply and installation of approximately 5m² of floor tiles
Painting of window frames
Painting of walls and ceiling using Dulux soft sheen paint

Kitchen Renovation

What We Completed

Disconnection and removal of all kitchen appliances
Removal and disposal of existing kitchen units
Removal and disposal of old splashback and floor tiles
Removal of one internal wall and two doors between the kitchen and living area to create an open-plan layout
New electrical rewiring for kitchen units, including new sockets and appliance switches
Supply and installation of two flat ceiling lights
Modification and installation of new plumbing for kitchen sink
Supply and installation of new plasterboard and repairs to joint walls
Supply and installation of approximately 3m² of splashback tiles
Supply and installation of approximately 9m² of floor tiles
Supply and installation of new kitchen units and appliances

Laminate Flooring

What We Completed

Supply and installation of approximately 80m² of 12mm laminate flooring throughout the apartment

Painting & Finishing

What We Completed

Full painting of the apartment, including all walls, ceilings, doors, and skirting boards
All paint and materials supplied using Dulux products
