This project involved a complete renovation of a residential bedroom, requiring a full strip-back of existing finishes before upgrading insulation, electrical services, heating, and internal finishes. The works focused on improving comfort, energy efficiency, and overall presentation while delivering a clean, modern interior.
What we completed

Disconnection and removal of all existing electrical sockets and lighting

Removal of all plaster and wallpaper from walls and ceiling

Removal and disposal of existing carpet

Removal and disposal of old skirting boards

Installation of four new wall sockets and one central ceiling light, including all materials

Supply and installation of four white double sockets and a single light switch

Supply and installation of approximately 50m² of 27mm insulated plasterboard to three external walls

Supply and installation of approximately 21m² of 12mm plasterboard to internal walls

Taping, jointing, filling, sanding, and preparation of all walls for painting, including materials

Preparation and full skimming of the ceiling (approximately 30m²), including all materials

Priming and painting of all walls and ceiling using Dulux paint

Supply and installation of approximately 25 metres of new 170 × 18mm moulded skirting board, including filling, priming, and painting

Priming and painting of two internal windows and frames, and one internal door (one side only), including materials

Disconnection and removal of the existing radiator

Supply and installation of a new white wall-mounted double radiator (700 × 1800mm), including new valves and plumbing works

Sanding and application of clear varnish to approximately 30m² of existing flooring, including all materials
Result
The completed renovation delivers a bright, comfortable, and energy-efficient bedroom with a high-quality finish throughout. Improved insulation, upgraded electrics, and a new heating system enhance everyday comfort, while refreshed walls, ceilings, woodwork, and flooring provide a clean, modern aesthetic.
